Felon: The Hellions MC Page 14

“You should have seen what went in her mouth,” I told him. “Sorry, I couldn’t resist.”

“So it’s true,” he said contemplatively.

  “I guess so,” I agreed. “What’s true?”

“Despite my threats and warnings, you went and slept with my little sister anyway,” he growled.

“Is that what she told you?” I asked, knowing that by dodging the question, I was really getting under his skin.

“Yes, Rogue, that was what she called about this morning. You are a despicable human being,” he said.

“I agree, Titus. I am absolutely horrible. And as for what I did to Violet, there’s just no excuse for that,” I told him, making it clear that if he pursued this conversation any further, I could give him all the nasty details he really didn’t want to know.

“That’s enough. I don’t need to know anything else,” he said quickly.

“You don’t want to know how good it felt? I mean, if you’re keeping her for yourself, you might as well start hitting that. It’s good, Titus. She moaned and cried out. She grabbed me with her hands and with her lips. I mean, she wrapped around me and stretched herself to let me inside,” I taunted him.

  “That’s enough!” Titus shouted.

I just laughed at that point. What the hell was he going to do through the phone? Not a damn thing.

“Rogue, you have tested my patience time and again, and you have disrespected me countless times on top of that. I hope you understand that this is the end for you,” he threatened.

“Yes, Titus, you’re right. This is the end of our relationship. I’m sorry it had to end with me taking your sister to bed and robbing her of her virginity by making her think I was falling for her, but that’s how this works, isn’t it?”

“I know what you’re trying to do,” he said, laughing the whole time. “You’re trying to make me lose my cool. I don’t know what it is about you people, but everyone wants to see me get angry. Or, well, they think they do until they actually see it. Unfortunately for them, it’s usually too late by then,” he continued.

“Yawn,” I mocked him. “You sure do talk a lot, Titus. If you could just get to the point, your threats might carry a little more weight. Then again, maybe I should be sympathetic. I did beat you to your sister.”

“Fine. You want a threat? I’ll give you a threat,” he growled. “I’m coming for you, Rogue, and when I’m through with you, you will be nothing more than a memory.”

“So, about the terms and conditions of my parole,” I started. “You know, they’re recording my line every time I get on the phone,” I lied, again, just trying to get under his skin and piss him off. It was so much fun to do.

  “You’re lying,” he said.

“Maybe I am, maybe I’m not, but they’re trying to make sure I’m not getting back in touch with my old friends at the MC. They’re trying to make sure that all of my business dealings are legit. And they’re looking for anything they can get on anyone connected to or otherwise associated with me.” It was so hard to keep a straight face. “Then again, who knows? I may be full of shit, and you may also be about to get a knock at your door.”

“You’re a dead man, Rogue,” he threatened.

“Good one, Titus,” I said laughing in his face. “I’d like to see you try.”

“I don’t have to try, boy. Revenge is already on its way,” he said just as calmly as he said anything else. Then he hung up, leaving the line ominously silent.

My veins turned to ice. My heart froze. The hair on the back of my neck stood on end. The thing was, I felt like I had already known that revenge was coming and that I was somehow in danger.

I slowly put my phone back in my pocket and headed downstairs to warn anyone who was hanging around that we needed to prepare for whatever Titus had planned. Then again, the best defense was always a good offense. We could have just left HQ empty for him while we all stormed the warehouse where he was supposed to be involved somehow in a massive deal going down over the weekend.

We weren’t even sure what role he was supposed to be playing. Our information was so infuriatingly incomplete, and that may have been what was giving him the upper hand here. Other than the fact that he knew I had a soft spot for his sister, of course.

Speaking of Violet, she was walking in through the open bay door when I walked downstairs. No one seemed to notice her except for me. I breathed a sigh of relief, though, realizing that she must have been the revenge he was threatening. He must have sent her to make things worse on me.

“Did your brother send you?” I asked when I walked up to her.

“No. What does he have to do with anything?” she snapped.

“I just got off the phone with him,” I told her. “He told me he was sending you over here.” He hadn’t, but she had to be the revenge he had sent.

“You know, Marcus,” she said, flooring me by using my real name, “it occurs to me that you and my brother have a closer relationship than either one of you would like to admit.”

“He was just calling because you called him freaking out when I wasn’t there this morning,” I told her.

She looked down for a moment, and I took the opportunity to catch my breath. I wanted to take her in my arms and hold her. I could tell she had been crying, and recently at that. She wasn’t here for revenge. The anger in her voice was forced. She was hurting, and she wanted answers. Unfortunately, at that moment, I couldn’t afford to let her in. It was in my best interest to keep her at arm’s length and to continue pretending that this had all been for the MC.

“Can we go somewhere private to talk?” she asked, looking back up at me with her wounded blue eyes.

I didn’t stand a chance against those beautiful eyes. I considered taking her up to my room and taking her again, adding insult to injury, but I decided against it.

“Sure, we can go up to the boardroom,” I told her. “Come on.” I held my hand out for her to start up the stairs in front of me.

I walked behind her and watched her ass in the dark pants she wore to work above me on the stairs. I could have grabbed her right then and made her mine again. I could have thrown everything away in one brief moment of lust. But my lust felt like it was trying to turn into something else, something far more distracting than mere desire. I couldn’t have allowed that. I had to keep it together.

“Right there,” I told her when we reached the landing for the second floor. She walked into the hallway and waited for me to show her into the boardroom.

I could have thrown her over the table where the MC met, and I could have taken her from behind right there, but I had to behave. If I slipped up and slept with her again, there was no telling how nasty things could have gotten for the MC.

It was bad enough that she had even shown up at HQ in the first place. I needed to handle this situation and get her out of here so we could go ahead and make our move. I felt like Titus’s revenge was simply a stall tactic to give him a chance to make a move first. No way.

  Chapter 20

  Violet

The Hellions HQ was very different from what I had imagined. First off, they were in an old firehouse, complete with the emergency poles to slide down from the upper floors in case there was an emergency. It seemed like a very unique place to house a motorcycle gang. They seemed to have taken pretty good care of it over the years, though. It was in good shape.

When I pulled up, the bay door was raised up, allowing people to leave and enter at will. I walked right in without being bothered by anyone. For an organization with the reputation The Hellions had, I was shocked at the lack of security. Anyone could have gone in and done just about anything they wanted. Luckily, I had just been there to talk to Marcus. I had decided on the way over that I wasn’t going to call him by his street name anymore. His name was Marcus.

HQ was pretty quiet for a biker gang. There were a few guys joking in one of the corners of the first floor, but for the most part, I didn’t notice anything remarkable
about the place. There was a bar off to one side with a few barstools and tables. There were some pool tables in the back. And in the front, there were a few motorcycles parked where there would have been a fire truck back when the firehouse was really in use.

I expected a bunch of rowdy bikers yelling, cussing, drinking, and harassing women they had invited in with them. From what I had read, I didn’t expect The Hellions to be quite so subdued. They weren’t supposed to be a respectable motorcycle club. The guys I had read about were more like the gangs of the ’70s and earlier.

Then I saw him coming downstairs. I had to remind myself to call him Marcus and not to run and jump into his arms when he approached me. I was here to give him a piece of my mind, get some answers, and hopefully figure out what he and my brother had going on. They were obviously connected somehow, but nothing I read online gave me any indication of what the connection was.

After we greeted each other, he took me upstairs. I could feel his eyes on me as I walked up in front of him. I couldn’t shake the urge to turn around and take his face in my hands and kiss him. I wanted to forget everything that had happened. I wanted to forget that I had woken up alone in my bed that morning despite everything he had said and done the night before. I wanted to take him inside me again.

When he opened the door to the boardroom for me and I saw the table, I wanted to throw him on the boardroom table and ride him until I couldn’t feel my sex. I wanted my insides to turn numb after being abused by his shaft thrusting into me repeatedly.

I bit my lower lip while I stared at the table, realizing that we were, in fact, all alone in the room. But it would have been wrong to allow him to take advantage of me again like that. I owed myself more respect than that. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly as I forced my desires back into the deep dark spaces they had crawled out of.

“Well, what did you want to talk about?” Marcus asked behind me as he closed the door.

“What the hell was that last night?” I asked, turning to face him. He stood with his back to me, a hand resting on the door he had just closed.

“I think you know what it was,” he told me.

“No, I don’t know what it was, and that’s why I’m asking you. Now, turn around and face me like a man, Marcus,” I snapped. Channeling my pain out as anger felt so much better than standing there crying.

“It was sex, Violet,” he said plainly.

“I know it was sex, you asshole. Why did you let me feel like it was anything else?” I should have expected him to be completely shut off to me.

“I guess I had to, didn’t I? I mean, you weren’t just going to give it up to me in the card shop, were you?” he asked, approaching me.

My body tensed as he stepped closer to me, closing the distance between us. My desire spiked suddenly.

“Don’t come any closer, Marcus,” I warned him, unsure of what I planned to do if he didn’t listen. And he didn’t listen. He kept coming until he stood right in front of me.

“I would have been happy to have bent you over the counter at work and to have fucked you right there,” he said darkly. He reached for my hands and tried to pull me closer to him.

  “You’re sick,” I hissed.

“You wanted it,” he accused. “I could tell you did. You were wetting yourself over the sexy biker who had walked into your store at random to talk to you and ask you out.”

His lips were moving in front of mine, close enough that I could taste his breath. I pulled my hands back from his and put them on his chest. I wasn’t sure if I was bracing myself or pushing him away.

“I didn’t walk in there at random, Violet,” he said in my ear as he pressed himself against me.

He made me so wet. I could feel his massive erection pressing against me through his jeans. My body remembered how he felt inside me. My heart pounded anxiously in my chest as my desire soaked through my panties. I panted against his shoulder and put my hands around on his back to hold him against me.

“I walked in there because I wanted you,” he said.

“Keep talking,” I breathed in his ear, my voice little more than a whisper. I rocked my hips against his.

What he said when he kept talking sent chills down my spine.

“I watched you while I was in prison, Violet. I had men follow you and send me pictures of you. You weren’t quite eighteen yet when I went in, but I knew you would be well over legal age by the time I got out.”

He pressed himself harder against me. I could feel him growing in his jeans. But I stopped rubbing his back. Instead, I held my hands at his sides, waiting to hear what else he had to say in case I decided to push him away from me.

“I watched you grow up, little Violet. See, I already knew who you were when I went in. I knew you were the one thing your brother cared most about,” he continued.

“What does he have to do with this?” I panted.

“You should ask him. I’m not going to tell you. That’s his place.” He pressed himself against me and I reeled from the sensation of his hardened cock pressing between my legs.

Everything he was saying to me proved that he never felt what he had led me to believe, but I only wanted him more. I wanted him more because he’d put so much time and effort into me, even before he’d ever actually met me.

“I knew that when I got out, the first thing I was going to do was find you and get you to let me pop that sweet little cherry,” he said in my ear.

“Dammit, Rogue,” I panted, pulling him against me by his vest. “Just shut up and fuck me again,” I pleaded. “I don’t even care if you feel anything for me or not.”

“But I don’t,” he said, laughing. “You fell for it all, didn’t you?” he said cruelly as he pulled away from me.

I let go and looked into his eyes, searching for some sign that he was just talking shit and trying to be hard. But if that was all he was doing, he was very convincing about it.

“I even pretended to take my time to make you think I really liked you,” he said. “I didn’t rush into it because I didn’t want you to get wise to what I was doing. It was really too easy, Violet, but it was so worth it.”

“Why are you doing this?” I asked him. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes again as my sadness and hurt came up from deep inside me again.

“Because I don’t know why you came here today. I don’t know what you were looking for by coming to see me here, of all places. For all I know, you were trying to find some excuse to continue holding on. So I want you to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I used you,” he said, spitting the words at me.

“No,” I argued. “No, you’re lying to me. You’re just trying to save face because we’re at your little headquarters. You want your guys to see me run away from here with tears in my eyes. You want them to think that you’re just big and bad, and it’s all business between us.”

A smile spread across his face while I talked.

“No, Violet,” he said, placing a hand under my quivering chin. “I want you to know that I sought you out to get revenge on your brother for something he did to me before I went to prison. I wanted to hurt his most prized possession, and that was you. So, I went to your work and found you. My plan was to make you want me so that I could take your sweet innocence. Then, once I had it, I was going to toss you aside and break your heart. I knew that once your brother saw what I did to you, it would eat him alive, and that’s what it’s doing, so thank you.”

“No. You’re lying,” I insisted. “You fell for me. I felt it.”

“What would you know about that? You were a virgin until last night, child,” he said in a condescending tone.

“Why are you being so mean?” My voice cracked as I yelled at him.

He grabbed me around my waist and pulled me to him. He held me against his body so that I could feel he was still hard for me. I felt his breath on my cheek as he answered me.

“Because even though we’re finished, I want you again, and it’s eating me al
ive.” It was probably the cruelest thing he’d said to me, and, yet, it was soothing to know that what I felt pressing between my legs when he held me to him wasn’t a figment of my imagination.

“You can have me whenever you want me,” I told him. “I’m yours, Rogue. All yours.”

“Get the fuck out of here.” He laughed, letting me go.

“What do you mean?” I asked, bewildered.

“I guess I should tell you something about me, Violet. I don’t have to like you to want you. You have a great body, and your tight virgin hole is perfect. There are so many other things I could do to you, but you’ve served your purpose. I suggest you leave before I really hurt you. If we have sex again, there won’t be any turning back for you, but you will never be more than a convenient piece of ass.”
